Blood infection is perhaps one of the lethal diseases that one can never have. We have heard of cancer, AIDS, and what does not. However, the interesting point to note that what makes the blood of the most deadly infectious disease. Blood infection is usually referred to as blood poisoning or sepsis. This is a very common disease and it has spread throughout the world. Blood infection may occur due to various reasons. However, one thing that you need to remember that the blood infection is very serious and slight delay in treatment or are not available in the appropriate treatment can be fatal.

Blood infection is a process in which bacteria produce a lot of toxins in the blood. This leads to sepsis, which causes great damage and blood cells. This can also be a direct effect on blood vessels and, therefore, it would eventually cause damage to small vessels. These are the veins, which play a key role in circulating blood throughout the body. When sepsis occurs, the patient may suffer seizures or heart attack. This must be prevented by taking measures to counter him, and the appropriate treatment.

Reasons for Blood Infection

Although the most common blood infection is bacterial, it can also be due to a variety of other microbes such as viruses, fungi, bacteria, etc. will have our bodies, as some of unsanitary practices, such as hand washing or abuse unsterilized equipment in the hospital. Sometimes the infections caused by a virus or fungus in the organs may have spread into the bloodstream and lifts the toxins in the blood. This is what happens when, lung infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infection (UTI), the increase of breakdown, cellulitis, meningitis, blood infections, etc. can also occur when some of the transplant surgery, because these patients deteriorates strong medication. People who have suffered severe burns or injuries may also receive blood infection.

There are many factors that can lead to sepsis. These include:

Bacteria: an all-time biggest carrier sepsis or blood infection is usually bacterial. Bacteria are a normal thing our bodies. However, having proper medication or forget the bacteria can still cause major blood loss and sepsis.

Mushrooms: Another factor, which plays a key role in sepsis will be mushrooms. Fungi can spread throughout the body traveling through the blood. Therefore, it pollutes, and blood and cause sepsis.

Renal infections: kidney infection can also lead to sepsis. Since the kidneys have an important role in our body and are directly related to the blood, so the potential impact of suffering a result of kidney infection may be spread in the blood.

Surgical Infection: Many times, dirty surgical tools, which touched the life of the body can cause infection as well. This in turn leads to blood infections. Therefore, must ensure hygiene.

Generally, people who have a weak immune system suffers from the blood infection. It can occur because of conditions such as cancer, AIDS, etc. Medical care for cancer patients, such as chemotherapy or steroids to allow for a long time increases the possibility that this infection.

Babies who are less than a year old can also develop blood infection if they have some common infections such as fever and it is not treated in time and the proper medication. This is due to the fact that such a young age, their immunity is not sufficiently developed to withstand the potential for bacterial infection. And it's not very easy to diagnose a blood infection in babies.
